3. Go To A Concert

It's been a dream of mine to attend a concert since I was a wee little Jr. high kid, and I vowed to myself that my first concert would be with an amazing band... not Beyonce *cough* older sister *cough*.

To be honest, I'm actually a bit nervous writing this post, since it's one of the most... the most anticipated thing on our summer bucket list.

Fate would have it that Linda and I both have never been to a concert in our 17 years of living, and we both happen to LOVE Imagine Dragons.

So here we are now, the day after the concert. The day after the best night of our lives.

I was tasked with driving on this lovely day, so Linda could take a brake (hahha pun!). Bad jokes aside, I actually made it out there and we only had one problem really, finding a place to park. I ended up parallel parking (or faking it) pretty badly, since it was where oncoming traffic is and I don't like to hold up the line. Linda and I were going to park at the garage, but it wasn't open until later. What a good thing that was. The meter where we parked at turned out to be free after 5! FREE PARKING!

We took a bit of a stroll to get some food. Jimmy Johns was good, but I don't really like cold sandwiches so it wasn't that great to me. Linda thought it was ok... well she was the one that actually finished her sandwich.

We got in quicker than I thought, so unfortunately not many pictures were taken due to the dark atmosphere.

In our seats!

I didn't really know the people performing for the opening acts (X Ambassadors and Nico Vega), but still good!
Imagine Dragons about to come out!

Imagine Dragons came out... and I swear I was going to cry. It was amazing. I don't even know how else to describe it. It's one of those you-had-to-be-there type of things.

They are an amazing group of people, and I love how humble they are- you could tell how appreciative they are of their fans.

Linda and I danced the night away, and I was extremely sad when it ended. I could watch them perform for hours more and still be pumped.

We both agreed that this was the best night of our lives. It's only been a week and a half into summer, and I've had no regrets.

Imagine Dragons as our first concert. Perfection.

I'd like to thank Imagine Dragons for what they do. They make music that allows us to unwind and forget the world for awhile. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to their album. It was there for me through rough times and good times.

We both got shirts that are probably too small for us, and I'm thinking the next few posts are going to be about cheap, fun thrills. Your girl needs a job </3.

After the concert, we were both hungry, and so begins our second journey- finding food at midnight.

Taco Bell apparently isn't open 24 hours, and so we settled for Wendy's- ten minutes before they closed. I felt extremely bad, and apologized several times. However, they ran out of tortillas for Linda's caesar wrap... so the guy gave us food... for free. Yes. FREE FOOD. I don't know why he was so nice to us, but he was... at least I'm hoping he didn't do anything to our food.

I know my economics teacher is going to say "Nothing in this world is free." But it's free to me.

It was the best night ever. I can pretty much say Linda and I are going to have a hard time topping this, not that I think we would ever want to.

It was a night of memories, and I'm certainly glad I spent it with my best friend. :)
